Many, if not all, of us are quite concerned about the current affairs in Pakistan. No matter who you sympathise with, all would agree that the state of affairs back home is not pleasent at all. One thing or the other, past few months especially have been very gloomy; from bloodshed in Karachi to floods iin Balochistan n now the Lal Masjid issue.
Politically we all have different type of views, different set of priorities and different logics to support our viewpoint. Fine with that! But debating issues specially at a common man’s level doesn’t really make much difference. You can see Pak Affairs forum , pages after pages debating one issue or the other without any result. So why not turn ourselves to our Creator. Instead of wasting hours on stressing ourselves out, wouldn’t it be nice if for once we all say a prayer. Say for example, reciting Ayat karima 100 times doesn’t take more than 6-7 minutes. And its not a compulsion to recite that…you can simply pray in whichever way you want…just pray that may the state of affairs in Pakistan improve…n May Allah help us all n guide us all to contribute to it in a positive way. May Allah turn it into a safe n peaceful place n may Allah help us all to stay on the right path.
Remember, prayers are very powerful when coming right from the heart. So please, for the sake of your country/your parent’s country, for your own sake, say a prayer.
Thank you in advance.
I agree Afia - thanks for posting. That’s what I’ve been doing - praying that things let up for the people of Pakistan and for Muslims around the world. I think it’s asking for a miracle
this is why i keep on coming back to the general forum...to read a post like this....Afia, ameen to all of your duas...couldn't have said it better myself.
great words, touched my heart!
Indeed we should pray.....
And as Pakistanis also use our brain, not to cause our beloved watan any embaresments at international level..... Times are tough as it is.
