Tofu

u know that iron chef competition on Food Network?
well my friends and i were talking abt it last month and we thought it would be fun to have one amongst ourselves. we appointed a chairman who selected the “secret ingredient”, and we have 3 greedy gourmands who are ready and willing to taste and declare the winner. i have a week to prepare 3 dishes that use the secret ingredient, which is tofu for this week!!

i’ve never used tofu… i need some good recipes plz!
tried and tested ones would be great.

Re: Tofu

Nimko, I have never made it myself but has it at various places and it was delish...make it is just like any stirfry you'd make....

oh and the only tofu i like is the firm ones, other ones don't taste really especially the soft tofu (and can even make you feel bad...lol) so try sticking to the recipies which use the firm one....

oh and you can make icecream kind of thing with the creamy one...
