We had Saraiki and Punjabi family friends and I myself then have many Punjabi friends in college, so got opportunity to listen to them. Listening also play important part. Urdu is not my first language but I can understand and speak good Urdu as I listened good Urdu on media and read classic Urdu literature during school / college days.
