I keep my toe nails a lil long.... yet to measure during summers...but for winters they are like definitely trimmed.... can not afford longer toe nails in winters... and as said ova here longer is a relative thing... what exactly is "long"....?
This is so funny - I wanted to post about this!! I know a desi gal who has such beautiful feet except for her long toenails. I wanted to go after her with nail clippers.
You can have short toenails and even get a nice french manicure on them, it looks so clean and nice when the nails are trimmed.

i keep my nails super short even by american standards (cant keep my hands off the clipper :hinna: ), and stupid ppl ask me if i bite my toenails

in Pakistan... I dont think girls wear that much closed toe shoes.... all were sandles and flip flops kind of.... so they have to "show off" their feet with long nails!!
I totally hate the idea.... they should be normal size..... which dont hurt and which dont look gross even!!!
plus the longer nails u have..... the weaker they will get..... easy to break!! and it hurts the most!!!

i noticed it a couple of years ago when a newly married couple came to our house, the girl was from pak and she had these friggen long toe nails, shaped really pointy too. i don't really like long finger nails but long toe nails are just plain wrong, they look like animal paws. hmm, ever since then when i've been to pakistan, i've noticed that girls have long toe nails even if their finger nails are short.
How strange! They sound vile. Toe nails r supposed to curl in a downwards direction the longer they r grown, yes?

i dont think they look sooo bad like everyone say...true tht some pplz have too much long toe nails...thts not pretty...but too short are looking bueeeeeeee (bad) tooo (my opinion) sooo my toe nails are not realllyyyy very long and not too short .. But i dont think it look gross or something like tht to have long toe nails.......depends on ur feets ...

It's not gender discrimination - it's just that when I am reading the post, sometimes I don't even care WHO wrote it - and I just look at the picture thinking it's male or female posting. So when you write it's obviously very girly - and the avatar is out of place...for me.
yeah I;m not a fan of any long nails at all. I just feel it traps dirt too much and they should be kept as clean as possible and well groomed!
Lovely henna'ed toenails are really nice looking when you get that deep burgundy tone on them with the henna.
