TOEFL

Does anyone have usefull information for the prepration, the best way to study for this test or some personal experience would be helpful.

Sadi, you will be able to find some good books in the local library. You can try some sample question type exercise books.

This link that i am giving you here is very resourceful and helpful.

If I leave here then only for further studies, will come back dont you worry, you will not get rid of me out of the town so easily. You may not know but it has been my dream to study abroad, especially in USA or UK. Another thing will be to convince my parents of letting me go alone, this will be the hard part, but no plans made yet btw why should I not leave in your opinion han ?? Let me know… Ali ji

Qrius thanks for the link, looks very useful.

Sadi - i took TOEFL few years back but i don’t exactly remember the format. The link that Qrius provided seems like a good starting point and that may be all you need since the test is not all that difficult. You may want to get a study book or software from a local library or purchase it from a store. They are very helpful.

The exam is real easy and it simply tests your basic english knowledge. I don’t remember studying too much for it. I got a book and looked at the format of the exam to see what types of questions I can expect.

Judging from the grammer in your posts at gupshup

I think you won’t have any problem at all and you’ll do just fine.
Good luck.

Yaar, the education you get here you won’t get any where (yeah maybe M.I.T or some other high qual. Uni’s), but the rest are

An Indian friend of mine who completed his Med. studies (in 3,5 years) is now in U.S and he told me that the best studies are definitely in AUSTRIA. And there are enough other examples. I wonder why you don’t join the UNI at St. Gallen in Switzerland. Disadvantage: it’s quite expensive, but so is M.I.T and Co.
Anyway it’s up to you.
Well don’t worry your Mom will agree. I’m pretty sure about that, btw you people lived in the States for couple of years. Am I right?
So how is your Dad now? Hope fine. May Allah (swt) bless him and hope he recovers somehow.
..Ameen.

Ali I get your point. Austria is good for education but it takes a long of time to complete Univ not like in UK or USA.

Yes we did live in the states, my dad was stationed there a long time ago.
