40 in weight is not bad at all. My kids are like 10th in weight while 30-40 th in height. My Dh too is a very picky eater. Try cheese. Lots of kids like it. My son wou;d eat only teh colby jack cheese.

Re: Toddlers eating problem
Teazy, I noticed that the things your daughter doesnt like are all dairy - cheeze, pizza, yogurt. Perhaps she has a lactose intolerance or milk allergy? Maybe try the lactaid milk drink to see if she takes that better than regular milk. Stores here also carry lactose-free cheeses. But lactose intolerance can cause eating to be an unpleasant experience for a little one, something worth looking into. Good luck!
Re: Toddlers eating problem
When I read the topic, I thought, What kind of monster eats toddlers. This is crazy, I was ready to pounce on the culprit and was relieved to know its just a fussy eater problem.
Re: Toddlers eating problem
Teazy, to be very honest. If you think she really has an eating problem, maybe you should see her nurse or doctor. They will be better judges of why she is not eating certain things.
We have no qualifications for giving any type of diagnosis
My hubby's niece used to eat a lot of things and then she just stopped. Lately she is not eating much again, but as soon as I start to feed her, she'll finish her whole meal. Its quite cute... but yeah.. if ur worried, go see a doctor.

One thing I do is give her multivitamin supplements alternated with cod liver oil. Although no substitute for actual food, it just ensures she gets some nutrients and keeps her immunity up. I need to get more proteins in her diet somehow.
