I am in the process of potty training my young toddler. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to get the process to be as smooth of a transition as possible.
When did you moms train your little ones and how long did it take ? What can be done to make it easy for the kids ?

hmm.. my mom used to take us to the potty every half hour..whether we pee'd/poo'd or not.. it was just to make us familiar with the potty... and show us where we had to do our business... before taking us to the potty she would ask if we had to go.. something like :shu shu ayi?" and then take us to the potty.. this gave us a word we could use to tell mommy we had to go.. aswell as knowing what the potty was there for.
we were outta pampers by the age of 2 :D
