Remarkable! Allah (SWT) sends them a sign on their day of worship and they misread it.
They believe in a superior entity for it's multiple limbs ... their rationale tells them God is superior and having more limbs is superior to the four of normal humans.
Allah (SWT) tells us that man is made in the best of moulds. We see this in the life of that girl who having more limbs than the average human cannot walk and will live a repressed life if left like that.
So how can they attribute to God that what is inferior? How can they say in the same breath that she is the form of God but needs an operation?
So what is the alternative here? That the villagers are disgusted by them and treat that family like outcasts? That she remain that way for hte rest of her life? One should be thankful that the parents even had the aqal to have her operated on. No doubt people with multiple limbs are maybe considered reincarnations of their deities but at least these parents had the sense to realize that no matter how much she'll be "worshippied" its better to be able to live a decent life, i.e., be able to walk and talk and live like a norml child.
