My current phone has amnesia.
What are some nice phones out there these days? Talking/texting, not into all the rest. Iphones are out, as I hate the big bulky things.
Some tips would be helpful.
Oh and not something super delicate. I tend to throw my phone in my lap, and forget it’s there. So when I get out of the car, darn phone drops at least once a week.

Fine, I’ll just call my service provider and sit hours on end on the phone only to have some annoying customer care rep, rant about something he doesn’t even know.

why dont u check out the samsung F300?I have it,the reception can be bad in some places but it comes with a built in battery pack so ur phone will always be protected.

i would just check out reviews online for durable phones. there are some simple nokia ones that are pretty hardwearing.
i don't do anything else with my phones except talk/text either. i'm too much of a snob to use other applications they might have - why do i want to take crappy photos with the phone camera?/why do i want to rape my ears with rubbish sound quality? etc etc.
i'm more into sony ericcson though. i have 1 that's like 4 years old and still going strong. if you don't want a latest model the k810i is really good, has great reception. i was thinking about buying the c902 as it's a lot thinner but the reviews are pretty bad, so i'm sticking with it.
