History repeats it self, this is as true as that sun will rise tommorrow provided the fact one repeat the same mistake. Consequences of drinking poison was death 1000 years ago they are still the same in 2007 and remain same in future.
The ethinic drama going on in Pakistan has been staged in Muslim Spain as well. Muslims were mainly divided in Arab and Berber groups and use to cry for their rights. Nonetheless, it was cry of some losers (leaders) who knew that the only way they can be noticed or can get in power is by fighting for petty issues. Conflict continued and Muslims ( Arab & Berbers) were drived out of Spain, remainders were killed or forced to change their religion or forced to live like a 3rd grade citizen.
Same is happening in Pakistan, Mohajirs have somehow cameup with this strange idea that they are the only one who can manage the country and they are not given the right to do so. so they decided to create anarchy… by creating so, few of them (leaders) got THE attention ( foreign passports & bank balances) rest of them are still suffering from the side effects of what their leaders have done.
Nations with 1000 of years of conflicts are getting together, forming Unions (European Union), and we are still saying that y an “out-sider” comes to Karachi ( works hard is forgotten factor) and earns more then compare to some lazy local. The hard work is never been left unpaid, this is promise of Allah all mighty, but the believe on Allah is so weak that we only call him cause we are use to it. so how can we trust his promise.
From my point of view, the major reason of conflict between the ethinic groups in Pakistan is ROTI, the one who works hard will get it anywhere the one who don’t will face problem anywhere…
