Today's America, and its future

the scenario can play out so many different ways it's hard to tell. The last 8 years have been a disaster almost across the board for the U.S. and the years it takes to repair the damage will allow countries like China, Brazil, UAE, and others to step up and become bigger players much faster than they would have. At the same time undoubtedly a new crisis will pop up and negatively effect those countries so no one can predict exactly what will emerge.

The 80's gave us a Japan that bought the Rockefeller Center and Columbia Pictures and we're reminded again that in a global market when one falters expect another one from across the street or across the globe to swoop down like a vulture and grab what it can.

I believe the irresponsibility of the last 8 years will be ending soon and confidence will begin to be restored as broad changes across the board are implemented. But most importantly the U.S. must refocus on innovation which will led it to being the leader and epicenter of energy technology which is key to keep it's dominating position.
