Pakistan has better literacy ratio than Hindustan: UNFPA

I live in The States. For the last year, I have gone to the same gas station to fill up my car on my way home from class. Tonight was no different. I went inside, handed the cashier my money and was walking out. He stopped me and said “Putt, bara afsoos hoya… jo oh janwaraN ne jo kitta Pakistan’ch.” (Translation: Beta, my condolences… for what those animals did in Pakistan.")

I’ve never said anything other than “$40 on pump 2, please” to this guy. I honestly thought he was Hispanic.

But he went out of his way to share his afsoos with me. And then we spoke for a few moments about what happened. I could see the genuine pain in his eyes. Absolutely blew me away!!

Just thought I’d share this here.

Wow. That was sweet. Hope to hear more such stories. I feel like adding the #I](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=I) ndiaWIthPakistan hashtag now trending to your #I](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=I) 'llridewithyouthread as one inspired the other. I thought he also gave you petrol for free or discount but maybe it would be hard for him to get away with that unless he owned the petrol pump.
