Let’s continue this solidarity and understand that when India cuts off ties with Pakistan or acts aggressively, it strengthens the extreme elements in Pakistan society who harm both India and Pakistan. It is in both country’s interests to not give the control of our mutual affairs to the extremists on both ends. We need to work together to not let our future be controlled by these fanatics, let’s not play in their hands by being hostile to each other.

I agree with you. I always am against the reactionist mindset of some sporting organisations who act abruptly and other groups. We need to give less exposure to extremists from either side. I find it sad that it takes an event like this for our common humanity to show but i hope this is a turning point. I find it reassuring that even politicians, who are corrupt and untrustworthy, could have a 2 min silence and encourage schools over India to do the same. Then well known celebrities from cricketers to bollywood stars have tweeted about this.

Some of the tweets have been quite heart touching including offers to donate blood. I think obstacles should be reduced so people touched on other side can offer help through blood donations or medical help.
