What is wrong with appreciating these sentiments? When have ordinary Indian citizens and children become your enemy?
I don’t see Pakistanis as my enemy if you see Indians as your enemy then i feel sorry for you. The only war is the war on denial of many who also deny Malala’s contribution.
It is called humanity. People with humanity realise the pain and suffering of others especially the most innocent. Indians obviously more related and feel more pain when something happens in Pakistan than other countries because we have many similarities. LOt of us look similar, we have similar culture, food and sense of dress. Indians on twitter have offered to donate blood for Peshawar victims because it has touched them. On 20th there is even a blood drive to donate blood.
One of my friend in Peshawar tutored a child who was killed on 16th. So it doesn’t just affect Pakistanis. I feel her pain as well. His name was Mubeen Shah. So speak for yourself if you feel this is some PTSD but you don’t speak for all Pakistanis. My friend believes in power of prayer and is appreciative of these sentiments from India.
He was an only child of his parents and a genius child with bright future.
You talk of worst enemy but please let me know how your “bestest” friend Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, countries in middle east and China have responded? Any trending twitter tags? Any statements of solidarity from their heads of state? Any offers to donate blood? Any minutes of silence or prayers for the children who have suffered? If they have done the above or anything i will feel happy as well.
I appreciate the Turkish prime minister and the many Western prime ministers who have condemned this and offered assistance. Turkey has also made lowered their flag in mourning.

Yes, maybe India-Pakistan don’t have a great relationship but all sections of Indian society from cricketers, bollywood celebrities, ordinary indians, even corrupt politicians were able to offer condolences and sympathy.
