what will other animal species think of human species, seen humans think as humans do.
share, any guesses?
Re: TO VIEW A THINKING ANIMAL
Dolphin
'What a lovely creature .... lets race it ... oh yes I won', but I would be damned if I came out of the water'
Lion
'If he comes any closer I'll have him, but that stick he pointed at my brother sent him to the other world ... better stay alert'
Ape
'Not enough hair on his chest, but I'll share my food with it ... yuh ... mutant!'
Cat
'I know who I like and I don't like anyone who I don't know'
Dog
'I wanna smell you ... please?'
You see all of them animals have one thing in common they can only evaluate us one at a time ...
I don't think they group us as a species like we can of them and think abstract.
Re: TO VIEW A THINKING ANIMAL
I am glad i am not a meanie like one of them:hmmm:
Re: TO VIEW A THINKING ANIMAL
They will think if Allah unhain samajhnain ki taufique dain gay to kahain gay Allah nain inhain Ashraful makhlooqaat banaya hai aur yay kaisay janwron si harkatain kartain hain in say bahtar to hum hain (baaz loagon kay liaay aisa sochain gay).
Dog will think hum kuttay ho kar apnay malik kay itnay wafadaar hotay hain aur yay insaan apnay malik kay itnay wafadar naheen, hum kuttay hi in say bahtar hain.
CAT will think yay insaan kitnay ajeeb hain mujh chotay say janwar ko itnay baray janwar shair ki khala bana dala jubkay insaan apni khala say kitna pyar karta hai aur hamara bhaja bhanji to humain chaba hi dalay ga. Sirgoshi say kahay ga Shair bara hota hai is liaay shair ko billi ki khala kahna chahyay. (dil main kahay ga stupid ppl).
Saray janwar yay kahain gay hum to tasbih e khuda kartay hain aur yay bunday faltooo kamon main time pass kartay hain.
Aur bohat kuch bolain gay baqia ainda.

one way is mechanical, the other is manual.
Re: TO VIEW A THINKING ANIMAL
Its funny but when a "bakra" sees a Qasai, he must be singing to himself
" Hum Chaley Is Jahan Sey Dil Uth Geya Yahan Say"

Re: TO VIEW A THINKING ANIMAL
deliberate complexes are bad thing to possess.
it is alright to be cautious and always aiming to improve one's life, but not get hung up on things that are more or less fixed.
what is the value of transition that is begot with a sense of burden some lethargy?
why can people not see that the process of effort led with clear intentions and by embraching change as well as adapt to change willingly is far better than to crib all along the way?

Without knowing the context, the contents of your post seem way in congruent with the subject but nevertheless conspicuous, so here is what I have to say about this.
<!--[if gte mso 9]>
We are all born with an induced knowledge called “nature”, same for every human being, then we start adding colors to that nature, different races, different ethnicity , different culture add different colors to our “nature”, as an adult what we display is a mutated nature of generation upon generation; age plays its role in the formulation of our analysis, we look through the eyes, yet the image on the back of the brain is filtered through the “wisdom” of the age in which we live, for that reason a speeding biker appears to be an inspiration for a teen age and an attempt to suicide for an aged. Getting “hung up” to fixed things can either be a personality trait or an age factor but nevertheless it is a desire for stability yet seen as “anti change” more or less always.
The value of a transition with the sense of burden has its value in the nature of the transition and the intention with which the transition has been seen, accepted or acted upon, it’s hard to generalize but it should not be considered as subaltern.
Re: TO VIEW A THINKING ANIMAL
thanks inteliphant. it is true that the second set of query is not related to the original for this thread post.
yet, i do find that when conversation leads to an inpsired topic, it is separate yet of the same...
your view point is valid in the way you have given the analogy of nature as induced knowledge. age, wisdom, personality and develop due to another reason which often time is, a drive for change, hopefully it is for better in most cases.
seen and reflecting over what one has gone to and is going through, enables with additional sense of motivation for change.
transition has value indeed, in and of itself is really necessary for growth and for being able to give something to others as a sign, an example, a lesson.
and the anti change is always hard to contend with. a simple example, when someone decides to be on a routine excercise, s/he will do all it takes to do that.
what delibrate complexes is referring to is a streak in the nature of a person, who undrmines own abilities to be able to do something, because s/he is feeling comfortable with that what is familiar and stable [to the person!]. sometimes, people realize very late what is really stablizing for them. it' all a part of living conscientious or unaware lives or a mix of both.

Re: TO VIEW A THINKING ANIMAL
sometimes, in fact often in life, intelliphant, what is... just is.
we find justifications to be the way and in the conditions that we are delve in, either by limitations beyond our control or by our own choice.
some have it easy, others are always at a dis-ease.
this is why the well adjusted and the well to do, the well travlled and the well educated, thinking, reasoning, fair & literate minds must give off of themselves to improve the lives of those around us, who have nothing to make do with.
well set people own it to the hard working and harmless people a retreat for good, ideally from all forms of poverty, inadequacies in life, & a sense of being hopeless.
the destiny on his earth is not simply to praise God. of course that figures so huge in our lives and it ought to, too.
but the real challange is to be able to have a heart bigger than anything else.
when misery, death, torture, disease, an apidemic, a hurt or a terrible tragedy of errors and mistakes befalls anyone, it is so wrenching.
as long as humans have a sense of mercy, the destiny can just be living the lives we live, by striving to improve them, constantly.
the good always fights the bad. the unethical is supposed to be eliminated by the ethical. we alone as eash person living our own lives, have very little to do with what transpires in the grand scheme of things, but the spiritual and physical realms of our lives would have
us do nothing else, but maintain that system of culture or routines which you referred to.
the signs of God are in the letter by God to us. the astronomical wonders of huge planets without the kind of life forms we know, must be a lab work for God, but for us this universal isolation is a scare enough to treat our own planet well.
the sad question is, how many people actually do treat it with care?
Every thing that you said makes a lot of sense, what I said before does not go against the norms of passion. The divine definition of “virtue” (2:177) is so complete;
"It is not righteousness that you turn your faces towards the East and the West, but righteousness is this that one should believe in Allah and the last day and the angels and the Book and the prophets, and give away wealth out of love for Him to the near of kin and the orphans and the needy and the wayfarer and the beggars and for (the emancipation of) the captives, and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate; and the performers of their promise when they make a promise, and the patient in distress and affliction and in time of conflicts-- these are they who are true (to themselves) and these are they who guard" (against evil)
* <!--[if gte mso 9]>
If we analyze it, it covers almost everything, a direction to our spiritual life as well as our conduct towards other human being; it identifies the love for affluence and gives us a yardstick for the moral worth in an act of benevolence. Dushwari , we are all born with an amazing passion towards humanity, and most of us are willing to display this passion, yet humanity as a whole is crying under a very inhuman conditions created by fellow human beings why?
I am not sure how interested are you in reading history of human civilization, there are thousand upon thousand movements for a very noble cause, each initiated and lead by very inspiring leaders, always stuck to their cause and displayed strength of character, most of them were wise enough to leave strong institutions to safeguard the culture, unfortunately no revolution brought permanent changes, is it a real test for human race to keep purifying itself, to keep fighting with the forces of impurity, or it is a failure of human as a race?
The ecological system of our planet would purify itself if we don’t put a curb on our greed to take more from it than it can give, it did that in past and it will have to do that again, however not without the extinction of a race, and this time it will be us.
Re: TO VIEW A THINKING ANIMAL
the why of the query is all too obvious. we know that we are at a loss. we are destined to know this. but, who knows that we are also to take care of correcting this situation?
end of time, from religion point of view is promised, but could it help, a bit that while we last on this planet, we could all make it easy on earth and live lives which are not causing distress on fellow human beings and other life forms?
why people are drawn to being greedy, selfish, & hurt others so easily?
human history is indeed filled with accounts of good things that people have done, but many of these things are fruit of generational sacrifice.
& then it depends if the newer generations valued the sacrifices of the previous ones of not?
indeed the ayat 2:177 is unmistakable. & i believe in that, too.
yet, when you look at human condition, as you have described, what is the use of will power while we are still on earth according to the ultimate end of the world?
that is the query which i feel that all thinking and conscientious human beings must ask themselves and then act according to a sense of right and wrong.
why cant there be an unspoken rule that people should not disregard about treading on this earth and using its resources carefully, realizing that it is for everyone, and not to waste or hoard?
why people torture other people?
what makes people so selfish that they feel their own needs take precedence over even the most neediest of all?
why do people like hurting other people and other life forms?
what makes the thought of possible and definite discontinuation of their worldly lives, escape their minds, that they begin acting like Gods?
clearly, something is a miss. politics is an example right there in front of us. which ever country you look at, poor suffer and rich are mindlessly raveling in comforting themselves at the cost of terrible wronging and hurting others.
from being in violation towards the rights of mother nature to hurting own selves by indulging in wrong things, people penalize themselves themselves?
what is the fun in that? no one realizes this.
but it is true, that world is and was built with a purpose. it just seems like that it is a miracle for it to be still here, given all that mankind has done to it.
Online dating is big business, drawing about 4 million U.S. Internet users daily in June 2006 (and 25 million monthly), and they spend a daily average of nearly 17 minutes each on these sites. That adds up to a lot of page views - almost 4.5 billion per month (source: Comscore). And that doesn’t take into account the billion-a-day Myspace page views, which many people argue is basically a very large dating site. All told, at least 15% of U.S. Internet users visit an online dating site each month.
The two largest dating sites are Yahoo Personals and Match.com, respectively, with a combined 9.3 million monthly visitors. Both allow free browsing, but to communicate with other members you must pay a fee. Match.com charges $30/month for the basic plan; Yahoo’s fee is $25/month. Both sites also offer premium plans that attempt to help you find a compatible mate.
An entire batch of next generation dating sites have emerged that are starting to nip at the established players. One, PlentyofFish, launched in 2003 and has over half a million monthly U.S. visitors. Recently, even Google has entered the space through their Google Base product.
One big difference is that these sites are (mostly) free online dating site, making revenue from ad sales alone. But many of these sites are also experimenting with new ways to introduce people who may be a good match.
