To the muslims worldwide, WAKE UP !!!!!

The Muslims have found the West the biggest problem in their affairs ever since the West moved into the Muslims World over two hundred years ago. But the problem posed by the West has always been the fact that they are more powerful than the Muslims. Many Muslims imagine the West to be superior. But it would be hard to name anything in which they are superior, except for power. The life Westerners lead is dull and boring, and all complain of boredom and depression. But the power edge is real.

Now power is the key to world affairs. They will treat you decently as long as you are strong. The satans will respect you only if you can punish them in this world, and that means power.

Moral appeal to the West is a complete waste of time. Suffering means nothing to them, unless the suffering has power. And this brings me to the question of Israel.

Many Muslims make heart-rendering appeals to the West because of the terrible treatment of the Palestinians. But these appeals get no where.

But the question of power in relation to Israel should be carefully analysed.

Many Muslims and many governments of the Muslim countries try to argue that the Jews in Israel would be easily beaten, if only the West did not back them. We cannot beat Israel, they say, because to fight Israel is to fight America, Britain, France, Germany and all of Europe. These Muslims then produce stories that Jews run the West in some kind of sinister plot.

The truth is very different. The Jews in Europe and America are extremely unpopular. They have always been close to being persecuted, and have suffered terrible persecutions in this country. It was because of this unpopularity that they established Israel, so as to have somewhere to hide.

And Israel has survived, not because of Western help, but because the governments of the Muslim World are so useless, incompetent and cowardly.

The fact is that two or three million Jews have humiliated hundreds of millions of Muslims, because the leaders of the Muslims have been unable to fight, but also unwilling to fight. Israel in 1948 was opposed by Britain, and given no help by America, and supplied with a few out-of-date weapons by the Russians. But King Farouk of Egypt was too lazy, and the ruler of Jordan bargained with the Israelis for a part of Palestine. In 1956 America opposition stopped the Israeli attack on Egypt. But Nasser only challenged the West to get aid for himself. In 1967 the Arabs never wanted to fight, and just got involved by mistake, and because the Israelis knew they could win in six days. Sadat fought in 1973 to be able to surrender in 1978.

You may point to the huge supplies of arms provided by the Americans to Israel. But these arms were supplied, not to fight the Arabs, but to fight the challenge of Russia. The Russians got the Arabs to do their dirty work for them, and so the Americans replied by arming Israel. And the Russian always stopped the Arabs governments from going to far, and always withheld the weapons that could have beaten Israel, and, finally, in 1982, did nothing during the Israeli invasion of Lebanon.

And the Arab leaders always knew that they were never really going to challenge Israel. And they don’t want to challenge Israel.

Saddam Hussein proves my point. He makes huge noises about fighting Israel. But then he actually threatens an Arab neighbour.

Israel, alone, can beat the Arabs, because the leaders don’t want to fight.

And they don’t want to fight because they are all pro-West. They want to build Western societies, in which Islam will just be a decoration, something picturesque to show the Western tourists.

So the biggest problem is the ideological power of the West. Power is more than guns, and more than money. Power is ideas, and the leaders of the Muslim countries think that the West has all the best ideas.

They won’t fight Israel because they want to build a society which would resemble Israel in every respect, because Israel is a little bit of Europe they admire so much and wish to imitate.

But there is one aspect of Israel they don’t want to imitate. Israel is a state founded on religion. Religion is the key to Israel citizenship and Israeli life.

To really imitate Israel, the leaders of the Muslim countries would have to center their societies on religion, and that means Islam! But they will not do that. They imagine Islam is irrelevant to the question of power.

But Islam is the key to the power. Islam would give the societies of the Muslim World a real reason for pride and patriotism, a real reason to build. Islam would also destroy the ideological power of the West, so that leaders were not paralysed when confronting the West. And Islam would give the Muslim people something to fight for so that they would no longer be a sleeping giant, betrayed by useless pro-western leaderships.

The world is ruled by power. The satans only understand power. The real key is the key to their power. In history Islam was always the key that unlocked Muslim strength. Islam is the only source of power for Muslims

*In 1967 the Arabs never wanted to fight, and just got involved by mistake, and because the Israelis knew they could win in six days. *

mistake? .
please explain.

Its pretty ridiculous that we as muslim turn to western powers for help instead of unifying and doing it ourselves!!!

The downfall of the Muslims was not that the West moved into the Muslim Worlds. It was the application of education, discoveries, and innovations that catapulted the West ahead of the Muslims. It is an accepted fact by the West that the modern sciences have their roots in Muslim discoveries. The West was in the dark ages up until the 16th century. The Ottomans had control over the Muslim world, Asian countries, and some of the Eastern European countries. The decadence of the Muslim rulers allowed the West to overtake them. It is a world of win-and-loose. The Muslims ruled the world when they were strong. Now we are not.

The West, the developed world, is far superior to any other people or society. They are superior in their openness, judicial system, social services, and charities and how they take care of their citizens and value them. There is a viable system of citizens' inclusion in the makeup of the government. It is relatively easy to live a life without fear of your life, constant struggle to go through the day without having to bribe someone, without having to worry that someone or some group may not approve of your religious following. You are an equal citizen of the society regardless of your religion. The government takes care of its invalids; the society does not shutout the unfortunate who lack some physical or mental facility. Overall, the lives of the people in the west are not any more exciting or boring then any other people anywhere in the world.

Power has always been the key to world affairs. The world has seen the most expansive Muslim empires. Power always commands respect. When one is weak, the stronger takes over and dictates their wishes. But those who hold power have not been the same in history. If you are familiar with the WWI and WWII then you know what I am talking about.

Moral appeal to the West from Muslims would not be as strong as you would expect. As you know, Judaism came first, Christianity came second, and then Islam came. On a religious basis, Jews don't think much of Christians. The Christians believe that they are the enlightened ones after the Jews. They also believe that it was the Jews who fingered Jesus in the crime and so they were responsible for having Jesus crucified. The Muslims are a distant third. Christians have a natural affinity for the Jews. They were the chosen ones before the Christians.

During WWI, Kamala Pasha, abolished the Khilaafat. During WWI, the Ottomans aligned themselves with Germany and Italy. The outcome is common knowledge. During WWII, the Ottomans aligned themselves with Germany and Italy. The holocausts are common knowledge. The Jews had to be extricated from Germany and given a place of their own. The area known today as Israel was not the first choice to resettle the Jews or give them a land that the Jews could call their own. But the Jews had a tradition of saying "See you in Jerusalem". This gave the British, contrary to your claim of Jews creating Israel, reason enough to carve out a land out of Palestine and give to Jews. The British were the part of the victors in WWII and they had a mandate over Palestine. Victors in a war do as they well please.

After the nation of Israel came into existence, the world, still reeling from the realities of the holocausts, felt responsible to give protection to the Jews. But aside from this fact, countries have alliences with other countries. There is no single country that is not in an allience. It is very childish to say, with any level of frustration, "To fight Israel is to fight Israel is to fight America, Britain, France, Germany and all of Europe." Still, on a personal level, the Jews are not totally accepted but frictions are not as much on the surface as you claim. The dislike for the Jews is from historical basis. From the earliest times, the Jews were persecuted for their belief in one God. This is what got them into the Diaspora, exile from historical Israel, until 1947. As part of their punishment for their belief in one God, they were "forbidden" from working the land. If that wasn't permissible then how were they to survive. Their rabbis established an edict that no Jew could work the land. This made it easy for the Jews to stop thinking/worrying about how to work the land to get food for the family. This left trade and they became good in playing with numbers; hence, you find Jews in major financial markets of the world. This is no accident nor by recent design. The fact that they became prominent traders and moneychangers caused its own set of problems.

You claim that "Israel has survived, not because of Western help, but because the governments of the Muslim World are so useless, incompetent and cowardly." I find this statement to be false. The end of the WWII made the world realize that the Europeans could also bleed and get hurt. They were not the Iron-masters, as they would have the colonies believe. The only way to escape the claws of colonialism was to raise the consciousness of nationalism, since the countries exit within borders and so they had to define something that existed within the borders and that was nationalism. This was the cause of the defeat of the British, the Italians, and the French in the Arab world. While the rise of nationalism was good in so far as enabling the Muslims nations to realize their freedoms, it was the downfall of the Muslims. The majority of the Muslims in the Arab world do not trust their fellow Arab Muslims due to the tribal affiliations. There is no common thread of unity running through the lands of Arabs.

You have to understand the mind of one who had been colonized with brute force. Once they get freed, they often look out for themselves. During the same timeframe, the Jews had come out of Europe after the Holocaust. Understandably, their desire to survive was much higher then the Muslim attackers during the ensuing years after 1947. They are a minority at the edge of being run-over in Israel. Would the same level of enthusiasm be true if Saudi Arabia were to be at the risk of being run-over where we, as Muslims, would loose the land where the Kaaba is? I believe you would see Muslims rise up in arms and excel in defending that land. Matter of fact, any minority, religious or social, is known to be very tight-knight. Look at the Shies, Ahmadis, Ismailies, the Mormons, the Southen Baptists, etc. Look at the Jews, both socially and religiously, the foreign populations in the west. Look at the Pathans during the Russian occupation of Afghanistan.

As for arming the Arabs, you have to understand them outside the realm of religion. The Arab tribes are structured like an army unit. There all belonged, and still do, to tribes and those tribes have a hierarchy. There is a ruler who keeps law and order; the population is not allowed to act with any level of democracy. Only alternatives to democratic mode of ruling people was the communistic mode of rule and one that was a natural selection for the Arabs to follow. Communism dictates strict adherence to a system of hierarchy. Arabs would naturally gravitate towards communism and that happened over time. Thus, the creation of proxy wars in the Mid-East. Sure, if the Russians would arm the Arabs to the teeth and threaten the existence of Israel, Europe would mobilize to honor their aliengnces with Israel. Once the Arabs learn to live with each other then the balance of power will begin to tilt. This is a very unlikely scenario. You make a weak point by saying Saddam making noises about fighting Israel. I fail to see what you are getting to? There is no way that Saddam could "ever" do anything to Israel. The borders do not touch and he would have to go through Jordan!?

The Muslims talk about he Ummah. What is the Ummah? Where is the Ummah? The masaajid are the representation of the Ummah and the rifts and infighting amongst those small numbers of peoples are representations of the larger problems we face from each other. We have not learned to include the Shias, the Christians, the Jews, and Hindus as viable citizens of a respectable society. The Christians in Pakistan are even segregated politically. Isn't the most ironic thing you have ever seen? The citizens of a country are segregated politically. This is a Muslim country not influenced how the country's politics should be formed. It is the religious authorities that have insisted on this make-up. We can't even let a Christian in a mosque or be seen with people of vastly different religious believes.

While I agree that Islam has been the key to the power of the Muslims, I fail to see how Islam would also destroy the ideological power of the West? You offer a good emotional statement how Islam would rise up to defeat the West. But my question is: How? I will tell you how. Muslims who are living overseas have to become politically active in their countries of residence. The West does not, completely, stop you from participating in it politics. Once the Muslims get in where the decisions are made, your emotional statements will take on an air of realism. The answer is in active participation in the societies where we live in the West. And this, my friend, is the key to the rise of Islam in the West. You and I am the key to that secret. You and I decide when and how Islam will come be known as a force to reckon with in the West.

You and I are Islam and Islam doesn't mean that we should pick fights with everyone we have differences with.

Do unto others as you would have them do unto you...

You and I are Islam and Islam doesn’t mean that we should pick fights with everyone we have differences with.

Well said
