To the married people here - share success story

Re: To the married people here - share success story

Letting go of ego...admitting your faults, realizing your mistakes and sincerely trying to fix them...those are a key to success.

Re: To the married people here - share success story

but what if you are like me and don’t have any faults? do you be honest and tell that to the spouse, or do you do the pretend mea culpa song and dance?

Re: To the married people here - share success story

My marriage success story is very simple, he does everything I tell him to :)

Re: To the married people here - share success story

2 years into marriage. 1 1/2 years of engagement before that & 1 1/2 year of just seeing. Basically 5 years into a serious relationship & so far Alhumdulillah we haven't had any fights. Major arguments maybe yeah.

Its as simple as no matter what always respecting your spouse for what he/she is & always getting the same respect back. Marriage is not a one way road. Everything goes both ways. Also being practical at all aspects & all sorts of situations is important.

Another major thing is sort out all your differences behind closed doors in your own bedroom.

As a woman I can only give one advice to the other single girls. Never ever raise your voice or curse at your husband & don't let him do it to you either. Once you lose respect for each other every thing slowly starts going down the drain.

I do whatever my wife tells me to , life is good and dandy.

Re: To the married people here - share success story

My and my husband have a lot of incidents.. too much.. but sometimes I shut my gob.. and he's on and on and on.. but at times its the other way around.. so I think when 1 partner is angry and can't stop.. then the other should.. and vice versa..

Like today he called from work to get ready because he has a party at work and will be picking me up to go.. but I am not in the mood.. I don't want to go.. plus my little one is not feeling well.. so Im still waiting for him to come home and have an argument.. about it.. I don't know how it will end..

it may blow up.. or it may just cool off..

I am sure when he finds out that little one is not feeling well , he will understand.
