Its a Hypothetical situation…still…i will ask..

So…lets say you have two choices…

A. A typical desi guy…practicing muslim…nice and all

B. A Gora/Other ethnicity guy…practicing muslim…nice and all

Majority would choose A (desi guy)! Why? Obviously because they would be familiar with each others culture, and also because it would be hard for Pakistani parents to accept someone of another ethnicity as their son-in-law.

Desiiiii definitely. Yeah despite all those criticism we do for desi guys :D

I think majority of us here can compromise on the 'practicing' part. But won't go for a non-desi.

depends on which one im most compatible with, whats each ones family like, what the educational background is, whose family my family is most compatible with...

If the only difference is ethnicity I would prefer the desi one but wouldnt rule out the non-desi one either.

You can teach someone language, food, culture, etc. You cannot make them into good people.

So, if the basics were there and I was more compatible with the non-desi I would marry him.

If the same went for the desi I would marry him.

Mostly the question is to FOB or ABCD....because back home girls don't USUALLYhave this choice...soi think its irrelevant to them...but whoever you are..just give ur viewpoint...

Bit of a simplification but generally B.. Different is more interesting to me.. Not necessarily gora, I'd marry any ethnicity/colour if there was an attraction + chemistry..

Depends whom I like more, whom I have more in common with, whom I share the most interests with, whom I'm more attracted to etc. etc.
