You may have noticed that on more than one occasion I have been accused of being a liar by Mirzayassir. I have asked him to provide evidence that I have lied which he has failed to provide. I have already had messages snipped despite providing authentic references. Fair enough, if in your wisdom you thought it best.
But by the same token, I think it is not appropriate to call anyone a liar unless one can provide compelling evidence for doing so. If you are going to allow this type of stuff, go ahead by all means, I am a big boy and I can look after myself. But do me the courtesy of allowing me some of this leeway that has been afforded to the Qadianis. Whatever your decision, I will respect it.

I have so far not intervened (as a moderator) in any thread for the purpose of commenting on personal opinions which the members of gupshup may hold for one another.
I believe in looking at bigger picture and such intervention on my part 'll just hamper the flow of discussion in this forum. In my opinion, when someone calls you a liar without specifying any reason, he only brings problem for himself without affecting you in the least bit.
Using inappropriate language for religious figures without any rhyme or reason, is a different thing though, as it can cause a long, unnecessary and overly heated exchange between a lot of people (unlike an exchange between two or three posters on personal insults)
However, it doesn't mean, I 'll never intervene in a personal exchange of this kind. I'll do so, whenever I feel that the nuisance is affecting the 'big picture'.
These are my personal opinions so you are welcome to disagree with them.
