To slang on not to slang

There was a drama on ptv in olden days, named " Mirza Ghalib Bandar road per" .. Although i have not seen it apart from few clips but I reckon it must be a comedyd based on Classic Vs Colloquial sort of theme.

Question : Can you stick to proper, complete structural sentences and still not be prominent as sore thumb ?

For instance, I understand that one common question ‘Whats up’ must have an oringin. Originally it would be like ’ What are you up to these days ? >>>>> fast forward now.

Similarly if i have to ask the same thing in urdu i should say '* Ajkal ap kis janib pesh-raft kar rahey hain* ? but i never say that instead i say '* Kia horaha hia '?*

funny thing someone commented on *Dil chahta hai, *an indian movie, that the lines of movie actors are witty and very spontenious. This is the way we talk in real life. We never actually say dialogues in real life, but very short sentences. here “We” is for young people, like me :smooth:
