To prevent nuts and fruit pieces from sinking to the bottom when making a cake or muffins, dust with flour before adding to batter .

or, **tie a small parachute to each nut**** before adding to the batter if you want your nuts to stay above the cakes *to act like umbrellas* in order to *protect it from rain *just in case you wanna cut ur cake outdoor on your birthday!**:D
