Anyway, arranged on not arranged, you can still find this out. These days if even you get into an arranged marriage situation ... do u get the engagement period. Well even islamically, its your sole duty to get to know that person during that moment ... really well before taking the plunge. A called off engagement is far better than a life ahead which is really hard to continue and then taking the ulitimate way out through a divorce.
