Re: To married women/girls
No, we have 2 spare bedrooms upstairs (one is kind of an office / storeroom for junk), but I never use any of them. Don't really feel the need to be on my own usually.
One night I sat in our bedroom for a while on my own for no reason, and Mr Halwa came upstairs to find out if anything was wrong bcos I wasn't in the lounge with him.

^ LOLLLLL!!!! If I replied what I was going to initially reply, it would take this thread into a whole new direction... lets just say the "shareef" friends of GS would have a field day.
Re: To married women/girls
I don't have space that's specifically set aside as separate from hubby, or one that is my own.
We have a study (but that will soon be converted to a nursery, inshAllah), but it's more a place to store papers and work things than a place to actually do work. I do my namaz here, usually.
The guest room is nice, quiet, and neat. It's also where all my desi clothes are stored :D. Sometimes I rest or read here.
The breakfast room has a tv and a sofa, so sometimes I chill there.
The basement has the projecter and all the video/gaming stuff. I rarely go there alone, but he does hang out there once or twice a week.
But normally we are both relaxing in our room, reading, watching tv, playing games, working, etc.
how many of you actually have a separate room where you relax, read, paint, or like to do the things where you don't like anyone else interference. and you call it your space.
i mean i have see husbands do have an offices in they homes, or study rooms.
so do women also have any space kinda like that or is it just a kitchen- or the room they share it with their husbands they call it their entire world?
He has the designated "boys room" for himself and his friends which has a pool table, games consoles, leather loungers and sofas and a projector screen ( he's earned it :@:)
And when i want to get away from it all, i seek solace in our "ethnic styled room" for my chill out space.... it's filled with treasures we've collected on our travels, a lot of family heirlooms, generations of letters, photographs etc.... i feel calm and serene there..... until the children interrupt :D
seems like some nice kidz. mine don’t leave me alone even in washroom. they keep crying outside the door ![]()

^ Oh dear...
Re: To married women/girls
I can pretty much hide anywhere in the hosue if I want to...
I guess it would have to be my home office/library.
dont have a seperate room, but when hubby's at work and its my day off, then our room is my room and i hang out there sometimes. but dont really feel the need for a seperate room anyway.
