Ok I don’t know which section to post this in so I am posting it here.
So I went to a baby shower and bought a gift out of gift registry. The baby is due next month and I am not sure whether to get another gift when I go see the newborn or flowers and balloons are ok. The mom to be is a friend but she is not a close friend. I don’t want to give gift if it is not required but again don’t want to go empty handed if bringing something is expected.

I think if u already got her a gift, just a card or balloons (or something nice for her like chocolates or something) is a nice gesture. :k:

Since you gave something for the baby already - you could give something little for the mom like flowers, a cake, balloon.

or just a small gift to mom ,if you have already given for the baby.

If you are invited then take a gift or a giftcard.

It is not required to come bearing gifts esp since you already gave a gift. But something that would be truly appreciated would be a casserole or cake, something nice to snack on etc. I'm sure the new mom and baby have received all kinds of gifts, flowers and balloons yeah? But something that a new mom can really use is a little break from cooking!
