"To each their own"

its only hypothetical…

lets say… some whorehouse/pleasure enterprise opens in your neighborhood/community… they just do their own thing…no disturbance to outside world… from outward appearance just like any other house/shop.

now will you do anything about it??

or ‘to each their own’ and don’t give a edited??

Re: "To each their own"

At first naturally one can object through the various social and democratic channels such as community groups, the council or whatever relevant authorities. If the majority of people and the council have no objections or the group who opens the Enterprise regardless of what it may be... keep things to themselves and sign it on paper that they wont cause trouble. Then I have no problem with it... So long as they dont make any trouble then I obviously wont make any trouble for them.

Now if I see people like friends and relatives attending such places then I have full right to suitably do chitrol for them, the problem would be thier own weakness... they should be able to resisit nefarious urges.

If however the Enterprise would enroach itself onto the community such as hold parades or outdoor ceremonies or whatever then they would naturally have to expect severe reactions from some circles of society myself included.

Re: "To each their own"

i will move out from that neighbourhood

Re: "To each their own"

^Really why should You be the one to move...

As a resident you can wield more power than them especially if you can pull your wieght by gathering local support to boycott the enterprise and if your support is strong enough you can even stop such a move before it ever reaches the planning commitee... it all depends on how much politically aware you are at a local level and how you far your willing to go.

Nobody can achieve anything by just sitting around, plus if you move without saying a word, whats to stop there being another one built up where you go?

Re: "To each their own"

the thing with "whorehouse/pleasure enterprise" etc. is they don't open in places they have no customer base to begin with. sherrykhan's neighbours are probably all horny guys who can't get girls. please let him move. :(

Re: "To each their own"

^ They may open in shareef Mohallas so they can be hidden from law enforcement egencies. It does happen too often.

Most likely thing to do is to get community to act together and do home work before going to authorities and ask for a raid.

Take pictures of people going in and out or make a movie if these people decide to have secret 'adda'.

The local Govt. member needs to be notified.

If they somehow got the license, then they may have legal protection but then the right thing to do is expose local Govt. of doing something bad in neighborhood by media.

In essence, this is not one man job. Community at large has to do something.

Re: "To each their own"

What if there's one in your new neighbourhood?

There are plenty in London, even in the most desirable or 'respectable' postcodes.. you just don't notice cos they keep themselves to themselves..

Re: “To each their own”

Yes Yes. Ask a queer. He must know. :halo:

Re: "To each their own"

on the contrary i would check before moving to my new neighbourhood

and yes you can notice such activity

Re: "To each their own"
