My nikkah is scheduled soon, Insha Allah :slight_smile: After a month, its going to be my hubby’s birthday. He will be in England then. I have a friend living there who can get me what ever i need to send him for his birthday.

Ladies - Please suggest what can i give him? What did you send or give?

Yes he is into gadgets but he already has iphone & ipad. I am not sure what else he has. He is into gaming as well but i am a total layperson when it comes to gaming.

I was thinking, how about i get sony’s digital frame?

Give such a thing he can keep with him whenever he wants. A perfume is better. I wear the perfume my hubby brought for me whenever I miss him. So it gives you a feeling of closeness. Digital frame? well. Unromantic :blush:

Like my hubby-to-be likes playing the guitar, so I'm thinking of getting customized guitar picks for him.

I like the engraved wallets as well. I am thinking of getting one romantic gift like some one mentioned perfume and the other some thing useful or something he needs.

You can search on google, areas near you who customize picks. But you need to know the thickness of the picks your husband uses, its important to each guitarist.

Does he play electric or acoustic? If electric ( I know more about these than acoustics) , would you be interested in getting him a brand new guitar?

Processor or Strap? There are so many guitar related things you can get him, which would be meaningful.

Good stores in the U.S.:

Drum City-Guitar Land: Very reliable, on time, and best sales. That's where I got him the schecter loomis 7-strings (beautiful guitar, after 4 years he still can't stop thanking me :D)

Musician's Friend: Again, great prices and on time.

Pickfactory: I believe it's in Europe, but looks good.

If you were with him I'd say take him on a cruise. He'll never forget that. A vacation idea is good? but depends on if your working or not and the financial situation; however, since you will be separated from him virtue of lack of ruksati I say something sentimental he can preserve for the rest of his life would be good... ie watch, something engraved. Precious memories :)
