I know I am going to get blasted from BB, Ghaazi and his friends, but what the hell. I just could not resist.
I grew up in a very religious family, and have studied Islam from an early age. When I do not know an answer to a specific question or need guidance regarding a particular situation I consult, Quran, Hadith, other islamic literature and ask some Islamic scholar(in this particular order).
However, never did I read or learn that Islam taught to belittle others. Islam puts too much emphasis on Haqooq-ul-Ibad.
Islam teaches tolerance and forgiveness.
Correct me if I am wrong, Did not Prophet Muhammad(SAW) declare Abbu-Jahil’s home a safe haven for all non mulsims after the victory ? I think so. Did not Prophet Muhammad (SAW) say a prayer for the people who threw stones at him and made fun of him when he was preaching Islam. As a matter of fact he said “Help them God, because they do not know the truth”.
So Ghazi & Co. Islam was spread by actions and example, not by calling names to others or not by force. If you really want to spread Islam be a good example, no one doubts that you have knowledge, but please share it without using it profanity, and i f somebody disagrees with you debate in a civil fashion.
regards,
May Allah give US patience.
