correct me if i am wrong but i have recently heard that there are mac counters in pakistan? if so then are the products cheaper? (considering pounds to rupees).

by cheaper i mean cheaper than you would buy the same mac products here in UK

They've always been in the big stores in the major three cities. But mostly no swatching allowed so you better know which foundation matches your skin tone. And you pay a good thousand rupee more than the original dollar prices. I think a lipstick is 2750.

If I am not wrong, Original Mac is not available in Pakistan..

but body shop is cheaper in Pakistan than Australia. About half price.

I was in Pakistan at the beginning of the year and I was told by my cousins that its not available and they get from Canada.

Where in Pakistan were you visiting ? I have seen them at some places in Lahore.

I was mostly in Islamabad but I was in Lahore too.

Alfatah has mac/bobbi brown but it's behind their counter so you have to go and ask for it.

From what I remember from my visits a few years back, they have all branded makeup and prodcuts, that you could get in US/UK, but they sell them at 2x the original price....even common drugstore brands like Loreal or Revlon etc.

Yes. They have them all. I was about to buy but the price was ott. So a foundation I.buy here in UK for 25 pounds.is over 5000 rupees

Yes they Are but they are not original.

You can find original MAC in Pakistan, but they aren't displayed and are kept in counters. You can't test or swatch products.

I know in KHI, the forum mall in clifton has them at ECBO. BUT they don't carry all of the products - like they didn't have MAC brushes. And yes they are way overpriced! I believe they do order it from Canada and it is almost double the price. I've found that most brands from the west are very expensive in Pak. So I tend to just buy it from Canada for my bhabhi and MIL.
