No matter how many times you try to rotate a fan with a stick (by force), it will always stop the moment you remove the stick. Only if you are able to produce current (motivation) inside it, it would keep rotating even in your absence.

This thread is dedicated to all the bossy spouses. You can add your quotes if you feel like, Just like I did. You are just giving too much importance to my quote. It doesn't deserve that much attention.
