Ladies and Gentlemen, Please adhere to basic edicts of tolerance and respect while addressing the differences between shias and sunnis. I know emotions run high on these issues, but a little consideration on your part will go a long way in building a better and constructive atmosphere here.
Thread after thread is going down the same path. I hope we can use this forum to forge better understanding about each other, instead of resorting to name-calling, insults, innuendos and making fun. If you have nothing constructive to contribute, it may be a better idea not to click the “Add Reply” button to add further bitterness.

Yes it would make sense wouldn't it unless for some reason our muslim members feel a sense of pride when citizens are gunned down outside mosques in Pakistan in an endless cycle of stupidity - because that's where these sort of arguments lead unless they are handled with some common sense.
Faisal, perhaps the solution to your concerns is to have a Shia Co-Mod for Religion. It will provide a good balance. Or make some non-muslim the Mod, who is objective and neutral.
This forum is for all religions and faiths, not just for one sect or religion. The only way we can achieve this is by offering as much respect to the other faith as we expect for our own. Thats the main point.

Any attempts to destroy the atmosphere by name-calling or rude behavior will be severely discouraged. This request is for everyone.
and a Hindu mod, a Catholic mod, a Protestant Mod, a SouthINdian mod, NOrth indian mod, Ahmadi mod, Aghakhani mod, Jew mod and so on will add to the “BALANCE”..
