What is happening in this board. First everybody is using Hazoors SAW like they are talking about somebody on the street, what happened with the manners we learnt, don’t we suppose to use his name with respect. I think It was the job of Moderator to make sure that it was followed according to the practice of muslims. I like to see if somebody call his parents with their names.
Secong thing is that why it is neccassary to find out if Hazoors SAW made any mistake. Just remember one thing if your parents made a mistake you don’t go out and annouced everywhere that they made a mistake than why we are trying to find out if Hazoor SAW made any mistake. Somebody please stop this nounsense.

Johnd,

I agree that the all the prophets (pbut) should be treated with respect.

The prophet (pbuh) lived in accordance with the Quran and is an excellent example to us all. I think the question should not be whether he made mistakes or not, what should be addressed is whether 'wahi' was just limited while he received the Quran or in everyday speech too (basis of the argument for Hadith as binding and as a source of law). So the rephrased question is an important one in the context of the discussion.

You may be asked by non muslims about your faith and your prophets and they may pose more challenging questions, you can't just say that you would'nt speak to parents like that etc.

The religious section is supposed to be for intellectual religious section. and so far it seems to be doing that. The fact that people are taking the time and effort to respond to questions is great. As far as the discussions remain within limits then they are useful.

I am however, somewhat disappointed that certain members have taken it upon themselves to try and proove things to be wrong. and have continously posted messages questioning the faith. Hopefully, with the positive interaction taking place , this would prove to be useful to us all.
