ISLAMABAD: Spokesman of the religious outfit Tehrik-e-Nifaz-Shariate-Mohammadi (TNSM) Ameer Izzat and senior leader Muhammad Alam Khan were killed in clash with security forces, ISPR reported on Saturday.
The two leaders were travelling in a prisoner van, which was a part of the security convoy transporting them to prison.
According to the ISPR statement, militants attacked the convoy, which lead to a clash and resulted in the death of both leaders as well as one soldier.
Five soldiers were also injured in the clash.
The military convoy was attacked near Sakhakot town in Malakand, the army said.
The militants ambushed the convoy of security forces carrying prisoners from Malakand town to Peshawar in the northwest of the country.
‘Spokesman Ameer Izzat and Mohammad Alam, a deputy of Islamist cleric Soofi Mohammad, died in the terrorist attack,’ a military statement said.
The dead pair were arrested on Thursday along with three Afghan nationals.

Good to know that rats are killing rats now. :)

Re: TNSM leaders Amir Izzat and Alam Khan killed: ISPR

Its a tactics of police all over the world that when you catch a dreaded criminal and you know that due to their fear you will get few witnesses in court, then kill them and show that they were killed in an ambush.
This sort of incidence evokes two types of arguments. One is that it is good to kill the dreaded criminals in whatever means you can.
The other argument is raised by human rightists, when they call that every person has a right to live and they should have been punished by means of civilised laws.
Both the arguments carry weight, so choose anyone you like.

Friends inspect the picture carefully, it might be the snatched mobile of some member he is displaying...

The attacked could have been to free him with others, but ended in his death..... Good to know that Talibs/Terrorists numbers are decreasing either way.

Might not be. He would have been giving his press statement to any press on mobile ,instead.

Re: TNSM leaders Amir Izzat and Alam Khan killed: ISPR

Khus Kam, Jahan Pak.

But do you guys seriously believe they got killed by some ambush :D....
I think Army is following Shahbaz Sharif policy, if a person captured third time, kill him in "Police Muqabala" ... ;)

He should be killed by his pals, if caught this many times :)

Re: TNSM leaders Amir Izzat and Alam Khan killed: ISPR

Each army convoy should travel with a captured talib. Could increase convoy security.

And it seems like this may have been a deliberate hit as TTP was not happy with TNSM.
