I wonder how do you guys cook all of your khanay without pressure cooker :bummer: I cannot , actually never tried making much things in daigchees etc.

i've always wondered, does it make a difference in the salan if the onions are short and diced vs lnog and thin like in the pic above? my MIL cuts them like that and i try but i cant do that somehow! she cuts it holding it in her hand and they come out perfectly thin and shaped...i do it and they are thin or thick or dont cut right.....

For one kg meat, I use 2 tablespoon corriander powder, 1 and half tablespoon chilli powder, 1 teaspoon whole or powder garam masala, 1 teaspoon turmeric powder and half teaspoon powdered nutmeg, mace, cumin & green cardamom.

No that is Kher actually.
