Everyday people open dozens of threads on GS and start tens of blogs, all with unique (almost) titles. I’ve noticed that there are about 6 main types.
1.** Summary of the thread:** Title is a mini-summary and just by reading the title, you can tell what the thread is all about. Mostly, posters of PA start the threads with such titles, such as “Zulfiqar mirza says …”. Now you know what the thread would be all about.
Vague: Life1 is master if it. Title like “my life is a mess” could be an Anti-MIL thread or simply the fact that OP’s pet died last night.
3.** Misleading:** Cafe leads in such titles. A thread with a title “I am quitting” that gives the impression that OP is talking about quitting GS could easily mean that OP is quitting her/his habit of drinking rooh afza.
Mumbo Jumbo: This is where Blogs rule. You see titles like “&^%$”, “fghfkj” and even a simple dot.
Poetic/Catchy: You get into the thread just because the title is very captivating in nature.
6: **Continuitive: **The title is nothing but first few letters of the OP’s original question. Like “Do you like …”, and the thread starts with “… your MIL or your SIL”
Which type do you belong to? What type irritates you?
I would say, I belong to the title groups “Summary of thread”, and “Continuitive”. I like to let the viewers know, if briefly what the thread is about. I like all titles, I think each has its purpose when used properly.

add more title types if you can.
For blogs, I think I do mostly 1 and 5...sometimes I do 4 when i'm very emo.
