I get tired of all the India bashing.
And, there is no other purpose for posting this on a Pakistani web site than bashing.
Just for the record, it makes you guys look like petty idiots.

I think this is more suitable here.
While its a pain for me mostly to go into each thread and take out the many many inappropriate comments there, I put up with this because I dont wish for any one side to get the bulk of the "criticism" on this site.
Religion and Pak Affairs is full of threads opened by non Muslims/indians for the purpose of bashing Muslims/Pakistanis. We allow those threads to exist in the name of not stifling debate, and it would be unfair if all this criticism was a one way street.

OG, Its just a handful of Anti-people who are on this Pakistan/India-Bashing spree. The surprise is that the modes are tolerating all this. Its like a pissing match, and Gupshup is used as a wall.

the thing is though, that if we begin to clamp down on this stuff, theres a risk of introducing bias into the equation. previously there used to be a spate of threads critical of america and its conduct in Iraq countered with whether or not Pakistan killed millions of fleeing bangladeshis. i suspect that it would be very hard to eliminate all the threads opened purely for pissing matches without either doing a biased job of it, or eliminating most threads altogether.
open to suggestions though.

There is a handful number of people carrying out this bashing but it is not a one way street. As Ravage has said above PA/ Religion has a number of threads opened bashing Pakistan/ Islam. Some of these threads are opened in retaliation whether against India or Pakistan. People tend to take pretty inflexible stands and whether it is India/Paksitan/Iraq it is always we are right and the other side is wrong. The mods and admins get accused of bias when such threads are eliminated.

Depends on bashing. If you put forth an argument, no matter how crazy, as long as you're polite in your speech, I don't see a problem. Just don't stoop to a degrading level when doing it.

No, the thread that inspired this was about the poor quality of the drinking water in India. Now pardon me, but this is a problem in virtually every underdeveloped country. Yet somehow there seemed to be utter delight at the fact that there was e-coli in the drinking water. Never mind the fact that you could probably find the same bacterial readings in a great deal of Pakistan, the commenters were gleefully dancing about implying that Ignorant Indians were drinking thier own crap for the fun of it.
And yes, India is the old standby when things are quiet on the Bush/Sharon front....
