Tired eyes - tips and tricks

What do you do to mask tired eyes?

I use a lot of concealer…:frowning:

Re: Tired eyes - tips and tricks

try using a white eye pencil in the water line, I use "milk" by "NYX"...... works a treat...

Re: Tired eyes - tips and tricks

^Milk looks too stark, IMO. Try a flesh-tones pencil or even pink-toned like Eye Bright by Benefit. Also, redness can cause it to look tired so I ALWAYS use Visine which makes them look bright and feel refreshed and soothed. I notice when my eyes are dry, it automatically makes them look tired.

glasses

Re: Tired eyes - tips and tricks

Unfortunately NOTHING works on me except getting enough good sleep! Even with concealor, flesh tone line in the inner rims etc....by lunch time it becomes obvious that I'm exhausted.

The only thing that helps me a little with is the cucumber trick with puffy eyes. 2 little slices of cold cucumber left on my eyes for 10 minutes does wonders.

Lol this

Re: Tired eyes - tips and tricks

But for people who don't wear glasses, i'd say that tired eyes= dry eyes (usually) so the best thing you can do put in some drops that'll keep your eyes nice and hydrated, that should help them look less tired. As for makeup suggestions, cover up the dark circles with concealer ofcourse, usually correctors that are orange toned work nicely as they cancel out the blue/purpleness. Also, a winged eyeliner can help the eyes look less droopy/tired and more lifted.

Re: Tired eyes - tips and tricks

I have dark circles which only get concealed with mineral make up, any other tips?? I dont want to have to do the full shebang every day. Also, i tried the Garnier roll on which are okay but they dont come in many colours and they are not amazing.

Re: Tired eyes - tips and tricks

^Dior Skinflash

Re: Tired eyes - tips and tricks

Ooh i've heard good things about that. Im guessing the golden glow is the one for me then. I'll give it a shot!

Re: Tired eyes - tips and tricks

Well I'm NC30 and use 002 Candlelight. It doesn't give lots of coverage (I wear a concealer below) but it reflects the light making the area less dark and more awake looking. It's a HG item for me.

Re: Tired eyes - tips and tricks

What do people think about that really expensive concealor..the one with the clicky pen thing..the name has disappeared from my head :/

Re: Tired eyes - tips and tricks

^YSL touche eclat? My sister uses that, she says it's really good.

Re: Tired eyes - tips and tricks

Skinflash is the same thing. I prefer it's consistency and shades. But they do the same thing.

Re: Tired eyes - tips and tricks

Yeah MH that's the one! My friend uses it and her eyes look amazing..thinking i might invest!

Re: Tired eyes - tips and tricks

I have thee ysl touche eclat but i regret buying it, know it's not a concealer but for the price it could do better, i prefer maybelline age rewind concealer in beige, it can be used as a concealer or a highlighter and it lasts the whole day
