Mayo must be very good, since a lot of people talk about it. But for me, its a smelly mess:(

Re: Tips to swear by!

Mine are olive oil for a face wash, and chirongi/orange peel for a face scrub..

Re: Tips to swear by!

Oil for a wash?

Orange peel is a great scrub. it lightens the complexion as well, giving instant golw.

Re: Tips to swear by!

Apricot scrub! Love it and have been using it for years!

Re: Tips to swear by!

Any recipe for orange peel scrub? Sounds great and refreshing!

Apricot scrub- use it every other day, and its fantastic.

Yogurt- Have it in my diet everyday, and once a week I apply it as a mask.

For the past month I have increased my intake of fresh uncooked vegetables and fruits, it has made a huge difference on my face.

^ Orange peel powder mixed with brown sugar and yoghurt, orange peel powder mixed with almond/olive oil.

Re: Tips to swear by!

honey and lemon mask...brightens skin and tastes great!

Re: Tips to swear by!

Grind a good quantity of dried orange peels with sandalwood and a few almonds to a coarse powder. when you wanna scrub, mix a little powder with milk.

Re: Tips to swear by!

I just use equal quantites of orange peel powder and ground chirongi...mix with milk to make a paste or laipe.apply to face until it's nearly dry.when you come to wash it off...gently rub in outward circles and rinse the residue.this was given to me by my nani, and i have used it on and off for several years.

Olive oil....i just apply in massaging movements, and wipe off with hot wet towel, followed by a cold splash.
