Tips on Posting Messages

Just wanted to open up a thread that allowed us to share some tips on what makes a post “fun and easy to read”…

Although we have a very wide variety of writing styles here, some characteristics of a “well-written” post are common. Small things like making sure that your message is broken up into paragraphs instead of one big blob :), ensure that other members reading will find it more enjoyable and are more likely to participate in the discussion.

What else makes a post easy to read?

Keep it short, no unnecessary Bla.. Bla.. Bla…

PS: Now, was that short enough..

Either you did not understand the message or you understood it too good. Which one??

(PS KG Trying very hard to be polite)

Does it really matter? Whatever happens we will still reply to messages however we bl**** well want. So stop talking about this f*****g BS and get on with more interesting subjects.

P.S. I am trying harder than KG not to be too rude.

Don't be a Fool, be a Phool!

I think we need to talk about this a bit more seriously.

Two things come to mind:

1- Paragraphs. I want to resound what Muzna already said.

2- Full stops/periods and commas are very reader friendly, please use them.

There are couple of people whose posts I usually enjoy to read but I don't read them anymore because it's just a big block of sentences which I personally find very hard to read.

I think the key thing here is that if you want others to take interest in reading what you have written, you need to make it presentable.

Occasional use of smilies
( though the message itself is not very smile-provoking)
