-10% bleach diluted in 89.99% water** for all of the above...
*-desii #1:* get a *clean-licking poodle* for ALL the above...PLUS he can be used to dust/mop wood floors :) hold him by the tail and make sweeping moves :D**
oh yeah if that does not work, try vinegar diluted with water for all of the above.
What about the smell though? I hate the smell of vinegar... :-(
Also, would it work on walls? My brother has two little kids so the walls in their house are all stained (with hand prints, pencil marks, juice/milk/food splatters, etc).
Afsoon, the smell goes away ... vinegar only smells for a small while but evaporates soon ...
Its best to clean the stained walls with plain water or lightly soapy water .. if you use anything else the paint will come off the wall and that place will change color after it dries out ...
Blessed, its sort of funny, but I recently saw a friend of mine clean her stainless steel stove and kettle with baby oil
Basically she cleaned them with a high absorbant cloth slightly wet ( with warm water) … after cleaning it … she then applied a tiny bit baby oil on the cloth and evenly rubbed the cloth all over the steel … after that she took a paper towel and gave a final touch … I can bet that her kettle was 100 times more clean and shiny then mine !
I keep all my steel appliances shiny by buffing them up with baby oil too. Not sure how safe it is to use on a kettle but I avoid any oil on the handle and don't use much anyway.
Oh i know this. My pressuer cooker is stainless steel and I use it almost everyday so you totally imagine the damage done to it. I googled online to see what's the easiest, cheapest way to clean it sparkling good. Like X2 mentioned... Vinegar is the best solution. I did add baking soda to vinegar for stronger solution to clean. It worked. Yeah the smell and all... its not that bad.
