I am taking meds for balancing my hormones but at the same time i would love to know that are there ways or a lifestyle that can help in bringing natural ovulation. Like i have read somewhere on the internet (its not authentic, i just came across somewhere) that drinking grapefruit juice and soymilk helps in ovulation. I am regularly working out as well. I want to adopt a healthy lifestyle (along with taking the meds) which can boost up my ovulation or help in balancing my hormones. Any ideas/suggestions/experiences will be highly appreciated ![]()
Re: Tips/Foods/Lifestyle to help ovulation!
Someone once told me about grapefruits...not sure what they exactly do but it had something to do with ovulation I think...
Re: Tips/Foods/Lifestyle to help ovulation!
reduce your sugar intake, and also reduce things like white bread, white rice, white pasta. Whole grain/brown/whole wheat is better for hormonal problems. And great job on working out! That is going to help as well! But really try to cut out sugar from your diet if you can. Natural sugar (from fruits) is ok.

also, any kind of low carb diet. NOT no carb, but low carb. I have heard that if you follow the diet made for diabetics, it helps with hormones, and will inshAllah make your ovulation more regular. Also, I saw on Dr. Oz once that drinking whole milk (full fat - 3.5%) also helps.
Re: Tips/Foods/Lifestyle to help ovulation!
Ive read similar things to what has already been posted...avoid too much sugar...choose whole grains over refined, white flour...lots of fruits and vegetables...cut down on meats....multivitamin and especially folic acid...avoid trans fats and fried foods...reduce processed foods...caffiene in moderation...and other than that, just be healthy in general, keep your weight at a proper level, not too high and not too low, and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle

In answer to your question, you may visit this site, which was very helpful for me personally. It has all the info one needs on regulating ovulation to fix other issues naturally with herbs, diet changes etc.
Hope this will help!
