Tip of the week - Mashed potatoes

If you wish to get really well mashed , smooth paste like texture when you mash the potatoes , do them when they are still hot and add a bit of butter and salt to them , leave aside until they cool down fully ..

Butter , softens up this mixture and salt gets absorbed into the potatoes while they are hot .. once they cool down , they dont absorb any flavouring or spices ..
