What’s the difference between tinted moisturizer and foundation? I was looking at Elizabeth Arden’s cosmetics and I couldn’t tell the difference, I’ve heard some of you ladies talk about using tinted moisturizer. Which is better for your skin?
What’s a good brand of tinted moisturizer?
Tinted moisturiser is basically what it says......a moisturiser with a tint in it so you don't need to use a separate foundation. It's really for very light coverage and good for just giving you a 'glow' rather than a fully made up look. However most people with dry skin find that they still ned to use a separate moisturiser underneath as the tinted moisturisers aren't moisturising enough.
With regards to brands, it's usually a case of trial and error and a lot depends on your skin tone. The best thing is to go around all the counters in a department store and come away with samples to try out first.
u can use tinted moisturizer as a face lotion..n it gives the skin a lightly tanned appearance n foundation allows for an opaque "done" effect. so i guess it depends on how much coverage you want....
there r different brands tinted moisturizer ..i use the one by Lancome.
Lancomes stuff is very nice, I especcially like their moisturisor (sp) however its a bit pricey 
Their cleansers and toners, even for sensitive skin left me looking like a scaled chicken. Ouch indeed.
try Clinique’s cleansers and toners :k:.. infact all of theirs cleansing prodcets are best ..look at my skin in my avatar…:Pretty:
