** Amal, **I think you are right. I am trying to find out about Urdu poetry from those who are the lovers of Urdu poetry, write and read Urdu poetry, day and night, and yet, I do not find any answer to my simple questions.

I wonder if love for the Urdu poetry for many comes only from the sounds of words they hear and the feelings of love it brings forth which in real life is hard to come because of the culture in which this poetry is made. What do you think?

If many of you are not in the field of Urdu literature, could you please ask someone who is. Thanks.

but they are very common terms in urdu poetry and ravi has shown his scholarship in urdu poetry… I expect him to know the terms first and then, come and debate
