Karachi walon kee baat hee naralee, I have never lived in Karachi and I received the following email from the load shedding company of Karachi yeserday:

We thank you for your support and continuous patronage. You may be aware that gas supply to KESC has gone down significantly which is making it extremely challenging for us to meet the prevalent power demand that stays at over 2400 mega watts.
We hereby request you to conserve power and help us serve our 20 million consumers better. Please use your air conditioners and other appliances prudently, especially during peak demand hours, i.e. from 7.00 pm to 11.00 pm.
We thank you for your kind understanding and active cooperation.

Question is why did they send me the email and where did they get my email address from, I have never had any contact with them.

I know someone in Karachi who has my email address, maybe he sold it to them.
