Yes folk music can have impact even when you don't know the language :) We enjoy it more because we know the background behind the lyrics.

aaj phir haalat kharaab ho gaye thee 'cuz of garmi...the only good thing is tht...3 days aur then vacation..even though im not v excited abt the vacation..the good thing is ...i wont hv to go out garmi mai...in the daytime
