lols. An applicant told that ‘Farhat Ishtiaq’ is his favorite writer. I said ‘but she writes for Khawateen digest’. He said’ her novels contains messages’. I said ‘whats your favorite novel by her’. He said ‘you might have watched her drama Meri Zaat Zarra e be-Nishan’. I said ‘but that was by Umera Ahmed’

How did it feel ?
I used to feel bad rejecting applicants , but justified to myself saying…tht Im being faithful to my employer ,and apppointing the one who seems fit for the job.

out of 6 we selected 5 for second interview. I was for technical side, but have to give my input on HR side too to make a rapport with the applicants. Feel a little bit sad for unsuccessful candidate, but had same thought as we were already told that relevant managers were some how not happy with the previous selections done as the selected people lacked certain required skills and knowledge
