Paratha is aufraata in Sindhi
There is a meetha paratha stuffed with sugar and butter. Other stuffed parathas are taken from other cultures. Basically, Sindhi dishes are quite simple and a few generation back there was no concept of Murgh / Roghani food. People used to have breakfast with Lassi. In lunch, they usually had daal and sabzi (Murghi was special occasions) and in dinner they used to have milk with saada rice.
Bus hamari generation ke nakhre kuch ziada hai.. I remember my Ammi running behind me to eat sada rice with daal (I don’t like saada rice) on the days when she remained extra busy. But I always refused to have sada chawal. She then had to make roti for me. But now I’ve become so sabir o shakir, jo mile kha leta hoon.
