I think time is the most valuable thing we have, and it’s also the easiest thing to waste…just read this and thought i’d share it…any comments???

DON’T WASTE MY TIME
Time is life. Time is precious. Time is money. Time is old age. Time is
now. You have it. I have it. Everybody has it. Nobody values it sincerely.
We waste it abundantly. Yet we cry out lamenting: ‘I don’t have time’
‘Don’t waste my time’
Yesterday is a memory. Tomorrow is a dream. Today is a gift of time.
Imagine there is a bank which credits your account each morning with
$86,400.00. It carries over no balance from day to day, allows you to keep no
cash balance, and every evening cancels whatever part of the amount you had
failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out every dollar of
course! Why leave it to be canceled? Well, everyone has such a bank. Its
name is TIME. Every morning it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night
it writes it off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest. It
carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new
account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to
use the day’s deposits, the loss is yours. There is no going back. There is
no withdrawal against ‘tomorrow’. You must live in the present on today’s
deposits. Invest wisely to extract the utmost in health, happiness and
success. The clock is running. Make the most of today for tomorrow never
comes.
To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask the student who has failed a grade.
To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask the mother of a premature baby.
To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize the value of ONE DAY, ask the daily-wage laborer who has kids to
feed.
To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask the person who has missed the train.
To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask the person who has avoided an
accident.
To realize the value of ONE MILLI-SEC, ask the person who has won a bronze
medal in the Olympics.
Treasure every moment that you have and treasure it even more because you
shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time; and
remember that time waits on no one. Yesterday is a memory, tomorrow a dream.
Today is the day of value, a day of reflection, a day of self-assessment.
Make use of your precious time and spend most of it for the sake of Allah,
the Glorious.
