Time to gloat

Well ladies and gentlemen I do believe it is time to gloat. The military got involved and has pushed the militants out of SWAT. They are continuing with the operation. The government is getting the necessary funding it needs.

But however I have one burning itching question…weren’t we supposed to be over run and falling apart by this stage? Wasn’t the sky falling a few weeks back? Wasn’t the country going to self destruct by this time according to you doomsayers?

Thank Allah nobody really takes any of you seriously!

Re: Time to gloat

Well, let's also put this into perspective:

  • We took control back of an area in our OWN country.
  • Taliban are not completely defeated

Re: Time to gloat

^^ Ya , one of their kind still exist in Karachi, need to cut the head of that serpent...

Re: Time to gloat

Let me put in perspective.

  1. You lot are wrong.
  2. Pakistan is not disintegrating
  3. You lot are wrong.
  4. The sky is falling. The sky is falling. Run for your lives!! :hehe:

Re: Time to gloat

^ You are right, after all the PM was wrong when he said Pakistan was in danger, the chief of staff was wrong when he said Pakistan was in danger, the people of Pakistan were wrong when they felt Pakistan was in danger. But than what do they know, they should have asked you because Pakistan was of course not in danger the army went into swat for skiing holiday. We should have ingored minor events like attack on the SL team, the attack on police academy in Lahore and of course also the iftar party they held at Marriott in islamabad. What do the people of pakistan know. Only you do. Ignorance is bliss.

Well, credit should be given where it due, our armed forces. They’re the best in the world and kudos to them for job well done. They have done excellent job of defeating dark age salvages. :k:

Having said that, this war is not over, and we have long way to go in defeating these killers, but InshAllah we will succeed.

Re: Time to gloat

I think it's too early to start gloating, we should make sure athat all areas are fully secured and try to bring migrants back to their homes. Most importantly there should be enough army in the area to make sure those p*** stay away from these areas.

We are proud of Pakistan Army but too early to start celebrating or gloating.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Not to mention two million plus people having a camping trip (as Berlusconi would have put it) to avail their summer holidays!!!

it was never a question of the pak army being superior than the militants..it was a question of the military establishments unwillingness to challenge it's proteges. ..and yes the largest internal displacement since Rwanda does not fall place state under the category of a stable country.

Please watch the following, all of it, and dont label me as a talibanaan-banyan of karachi supporter because these journalists belongs to the west, east, and one of them is from our own country, so no question of being biased.

We should thank our lucky stars that army was there to stop the Talib madness

Otherwise their butchery would have lead to Hutu-tutsi stuff.

Yes, mashallah, we should all form our opinion based on a few talking heads on TV and nothing else. I didn’t watch the whole clip, as it became repetitive after a while. I’ve seen these arguments before, but the facts are that taliban HAVE conducted raids inside punjab near the border and just few days back, mehsuds men were caught in mianwali. Not to mention the Lahore, Islamabad/Pindi attacks. South Punjab is already well on the course of falling to the taliban. All the ingredients are there.

And if the whole argument is that yes, we can lose all the areas west of the indus to taliban but the holy land of the fiver rivers will always be taliban free, then that is one sad sad argument and tells of the level of denial among the right wingers.

Re: Time to gloat

Well it is time to gloat

not many weeks have passed, when Pakistan's nuclear assets were under threat, and today, French have offered Pakistan the Civil Nuclear Technology and Now American have put up their conditional offer for providing them the same...

if this is not a difference, then what would be!!! remember the tone changed in the matter of weeks

Oh yes, this gora guy and the journalist from london and the lady interviewing them are all taliban. Your Talibunnnization of KArachi non-sense was funny enough, and now you are claiming South punjab falling to taliban LOLOLOLOL!!! HAHAHAHAH! Please post sensible stuff if you want others to take you seriously.

hehe CM saar you sure know how to rub it in... dooms day prophets and nay sayers please stand up. :)

Few moons ago Pak was labled a failed state and one of the criteria was the earth quake in kasmeer, how desprate one gets... !
