This year im making more time for family. And camping in a forest at midnight with no one there but me. And learning how to surf. Those are just a few of the things on my list. Itll probably grow. I dont bother with new years resolution. It has the opposite effect on me of what its suppose to.

Well I’d certainly like to see myself in a new career but my three year contract has a few months to go before it expires… that said I should be preparing for either renewing my contract or seeking employment elsewhere as my proffesional talents according to some are being wasted and there is more to earn in the private sector.
I reckon I have a few cards up my sleeve though so we shall see what Allah has in store for me.
Insha Allah I might also be blessed soon with another addition to my fammily.

Its not that simple... theres a more to it. I love my job but it was always a temporary one until I can either get further training or prove that I have enough skills to go further.
I operate a more specialised role and its very demanding, the last year especially with the summer riots in the UK plus all the new waves of troubles that are taking place are now leading my fammily to urge me to find a better job. I dont want to rush things right now I'm living on a comfortable salary and the job is not as tough as others I have done.
However I am getting old and at the same time this particular role is not really fun anymore in fact I've been under fire a lot to do more and the Governement has cut vital funding of projects which were essential to keeping things running smoothly. Now our department has to deal with more workload but less specialist officers who know thier stuff when it comes to close qaurters.
I'm also dreading the fact I might get transferred to a more dangerous place, offcourse they will pay expenses and raise my salary and renew my contract for a few more years... but I have had offers of better jobs in other employment sectors and to be honest the work is easier so I might take the exit strategy.

the private sector is the place to be right now faris. I would recommend take the exit strategy. More jobs are being made in the private sector with more money and in some cases, less work load. Anyways what did you all get upto for new years??

haha, hardly. Its cuz i saw me pals in almost like half a year so had to. I probs wont see them for a while after this. And its not every day it comes around. Wasnt drinking myself but i was feeding some girls some shots cuz they were already having a cat fight so i thought id add some masala to it :D
